Walter Gatus is an artist currently located in Los Angeles.  With over 10 years of experience, he has worked for studios such as Warner Bros., Cartoon Network, Sony Animation, Starz, and Hasbro.  A character designer by trade, he has worked on shows such as TRANSFORMERS: PRIME, NFL RUSH ZONE: SEASON OF THE GUARDIANS, AVENGERS: EARTH’S MIGHTIEST HEROES, and ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN to name a few.  In addition to designing for animation, he designs for toy and video game properties.

He most recently published his book, THE ART OF WALTER GATUS, a sample of re-imagined properties from his childhood, as well as original properties he has created.

In his free time, he gathers inspiration by reading books, watching television & film, and spending time with his wife and children.
